My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chilli has a playful nature and loves to chase wand toys but she also loves to chit chat over coffee or dinner, as you watch a movie or play some video games. She loves to lounge right next to you in her hammock. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and is very food motivated. She is decently good with toddlers but does need a safe space to get away when she's had enough toddler time. It is unknown if she is good with dogs or other cats. Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
