Adopt Jawsalyn – A Gentle Soul with a One-of-a-Kind Smile
Meet Jawsalyn, a sweet and special 5-year-old kitty who’s been waiting for her forever home for over 1523 days! She came to us with a serious jaw injury, which left her with a charming sideways smile and very few teeth. But that doesn’t slow her down — she eats just fine and is thriving!
Because of her shy personality, Jawsalyn struggled to connect with adopters at our PetSmart center. But during her time in a quiet foster home, she blossomed. With patience and love, she began to trust people and showed her curious, affectionate side. Her favorite hobby? Watching the fish swim in the aquarium — it brought her so much peace.
Now back in our care, Jawsalyn is once again waiting for someone to see the beauty and love she has to offer. She may be nervous at first, but with time, she becomes a loyal and gentle companion.
Jawsalyn has been overlooked for too long. She's a survivor, a sweetheart, and she deserves the warmth and safety of a forever home.
Give Jawsalyn the chance she’s been waiting for — and let her quiet love fill your home.
Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, feline leukemia/FIV negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, and treated for parasites. They are available to inside only homes where they will not be declawed.
Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org.
If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, donations can be mailed to Hart County Humane Society P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643 or online at harthumane.org.
The Hart County Humane Society is an all-volunteer rescue, we receive no government funding and rely on donations to fund our lifesaving programs.
