My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Dalbam, and I'm a 6-year-old Spitz girl with a heart full of love. I had a bit of a rough start, rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Gonji-am South Korea back in 2021, but I've come a long way since then.

I'm a social butterfly, both with humans and fellow furry friends. When I first meet someone new, I might bark a little, but it's just my way of saying hello. Give me a moment, and you'll see how quickly I warm up, ready to play and make new friends, even with other dogs. However, please be aware that if provoked, I might engage in a tussle, so a watchful eye during playtime is appreciated.

I'm a expert walker with a wealth of strolling experience. I don't pull on the leash; I gracefully follow your lead. As for food, I'm not possessive at all – feel free to share a meal with me!

Since my affectionate nature means I may form strong bonds, so keep that in mind if I might have separation anxiety. I'm a pro at both indoor and outdoor bathroom etiquette, making me a well-mannered companion.

Rescued and ready for a forever home, I'm here, waiting for someone as special as you to share my life and love. If you're looking for a loyal, friendly, and loving friend, I might just be the perfect fit for you. Come meet me, and let's create a lifetime of memories together!

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
