Jewel is a beautiful gal who came into our care with her sister Molly after their owner was hospitalized. She's takes a while to trust, but once she does, enjoys chin scratches and belly rubs. She loves wand toys, but doesn't like to share. As a typical calico, she can be spicy and doesn't like to be picked up and carried. She would do best in a home with no other pets and older children who understand boundaries. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

There are no animals onsite. All our animals are in private foster homes. There is no opportunity to meet cats or kittens before an application has been approved.
