My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRISKY MIDNIGHT PANTHER is an adorable, solid black young adult cat male kitty who is looking for his wonderful forever home. Frisky had a rough start in life, and when he came to his CRAN foster home, he was very affectionate and loving, but he would occasionally swipe at his foster mom. After months of being handled in a loving manner, Frisky no longer swipes at her, and he has proven to be a very sweet and loving boy. Frisky would enjoy a gentle feline companion, but would be fine as an only cat with an adopter who is home most of the time to give him attention. He should not be placed in a household with young children, but would be fine with older children who are kind and gentle with him. It is very important for this cat to be placed in a quiet home with loving humans because of the trauma he endured in his original home. This fine fellow will make a wonderful lifelong companion for some lucky person or family!

FRISKY has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet FRISKY in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
