My story

"Hi, I'm Cutie Pie, a very fitting name! I was rescued as a young kitty, humans are quite new to me still! I am pretty shy but have a ton of potential to flourish in my forever home with a family. I will do best in a quiet home, where I can have time and space to adapt to my new environment. I'm only approximately 1 1/2 years old. I was previously adopted as an only but returned, as I found I was lonely without the cat companionship here at the shelter. As soon as I was back at the rescue, I curled up with Petunia and Lucky - and would love to go to a home with at least one of them! Petunia and I play really well together. I hope you’ll come and meet us soon!"

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Even if you don't know what animal in particular, this step gets you "on the board" and ready to move forward. Refundable $50 deposit due.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

When you visit, you may find someone else you'd rather take home. It happens a lot! We'll also get to meet you too and ask some questions.

3.
Home Check

We will run our process of checking references, landlord if needed, vet/medical history etc.

4.
Approve Application

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

You will pay the remainder adoption fee at this point.

6.
Take the Pet Home

To adopt, visit our shelter! We do require veterinarian and personal references to adopt. All pets need to be current on vaccinations and have regular wellness vet visits.
