My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys! It's me! Duke!

I was recently found as a stray right down the road from FDHS wearing a harness and leash. The humans were certain someone would come looking for me, but my previous folks never came. I'm not quite sure why, because I'm a really good boy!

I'm still getting used to life at the shelter and my caretakers are still getting to know my perks and quirks- but so far they're all pretty smitten with me. The other dogs with more "intense" personalities tend to get me worked up, but I think I'm pretty open to meeting calmer canine friends! I have not been cat-tested yet but the humans will update my description once we get to know each other a little better.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
