My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jewel was trapped in a TNR project on a homeowner's property. She was so friendly that the homeowner asked for her to be adopted rather than returned to the colony. Her TC Paw foster family says she is just beautiful and fluffy and sweet. She's a little timid, but always gentle, never aggressive or mean. To invite being petted, she'll roll with her belly in the air. Aggressive handling might scare a shy girl like Jewel, but she likes to be brushed, petted, and scratched on her face. She is good around kids and other cats. She hasn't been around dogs in her foster home.

She's a beauty.

An adoption coordinator will call to complete a phone interview.

Home Check

Adoption coordinator will call personal and veterinarian references.

Meet the Pet

Pets may be in foster homes or at the Traverse City Pet Smart cattery to meet potential adopters.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption hours at the Traverse City PetSmart are Tuesday 5-7 pm, Saturday 12-2pm and Sunday 2-4 pm.
