My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Charlie Brown's owner passed away, a relative took him in to be a companion for their own dog. When their dog passed away, they put Charlie into a room where he sat for 5 months with no human interaction. But Charlie has now been taken into a rescuer's care & he will be making his way soon to NJ to find a new home. Charlie is a 13 year Dachshund boy who weighs under 13 pounds.

Foster mom says she can pick Charlie up but he tends to walk away so she has to catch him when he isn’t looking. He is fine being held so she gives him lots of love for a minute or two. Then she puts him down and he walks off. He was without love for so long so it's taking him a bit of time to get used to being loved but he's doing so well!

Charlie loves the other dogs in his foster home - you can usually find him following one of them around. Foster mom believes that Charlie needs to have another dog in his forever home so he will only be adopted into a home where he'll have a canine companion - he just LOVES dogs!

Puppy: 375.00 + 100.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit
