Rescue & Behavior

Iggy was rescued from a high kill shelter when he was 6 weeks old. He arrived at my location when he was 3 months old. I had planned on keeping him to be our next Rescue Ambassador and had spent time training him. He is fully obedience trained and knows a few tricks, he also is an accomplished Frisbee catcher!

I decided to place him for adoption because he is toy possessive with the other dogs and this behavior has led to fighting altercations. I have tried everything to stop Iggy from doing this but he is much better around dogs that don't want to try and take away his toys. My Rescue environment is not conducive to his needs.

Iggy is great around cats, and he absolutely loves children! I really would love to see Iggy grow up with some kids especially active kids that like to throw a frisbee! Iggy is crate trained, housebroken and great in car rides.
