This poor boy ended up at one of our local rural shelters where he lingered for a month with a prolapsed rectum. Sadly most rural shelters are underfunded and just don’t have the resources to provide complicated vet care. They rely on rescues like us to pull the dogs most in need and get them the medical attention they require. We saw Busters plight and gave him the rescue help he so desperately needed. Busters had his surgery and is well on the way to a full recovery. The next step now is to find him that perfect frenchie loving home.
