Zelda delivered her gorgeous kittens in foster care where they were very quickly adopted. She's been waiting 3 long years for her family to come get her. Zelda is a very sweet cat however, the shy side of her has her looking more like a wilting flower than a silly, sweet cat. Her best match would be as a quiet household and as companion to another cat, she gets along fabulously with other cats. She was a foster mom to orphan kittens, however, now she spends her days laying in the sun, enjoying the company of another shy mom cat, Eva. They make quite the pair. Zelda is not at the shelter, she is in foster care in New City. If you would like to meet Zelda, please call the shelter at 845-414-9700 for more info or to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you!!!

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
