My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed

Lyon, approx DOB 12/1/22, is a sweet and gentle cat. He was living in a hording situation with a large number of cats. He was scared and sick when he was first pulled out of the bad conditions, but he has warmed up a lot and likes attention and is healthy.

He would do best in a quiet home with at least one other cat that could bond with him. He is in foster care with other cats from the home (Athena, Lewis, Acacia, Biscuit) who would be great additions to your home with him as well. They are all listed online as well.

Dallas Cat Rescue, dba Cat Matchers is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We will accomplish this:

through programs to rescue, spay/neuter and adopt out animals in need.
by supporting spay/neuter programs to try and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year or left homeless.
The goal is to turn disposable animals into lifelong companions.
