My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**COURTESY POST**

We are looking for a dedicated and committed foster home or better yet....a forever home for this sweet boy! Shorty is a 3/4 yr old, male, Shetland Sheepdog mix who needs our help. He was found deserted and dumped in the desert, but thankfully a wonderful person got him to safety. He is now in boarding and we would like to get him out and into a home setting to decompress and acclimate. Shorty is a great dog that gets along with other dogs wonderfully. The boarding facility does say that he needs time to warm up to people before he feels safe and secure which is totally understandable after all he's been through. We are looking for a dog savvy, patient, kind, and loving home for him that will give him that time and space he needs to decompress. A home with a yard would be amazing along with owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Shorty is one special and might we add...very stunning dog that deserves and equally special home.

Shorty is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

THE FORGOTTEN DOG FOUNDATION rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes shelter, stray, abused and abandoned dogs. Our goal is to place our rescues in foster homes rather than in boarding facilities. After temperament assessment, needed veterinary services, and lots of attention and socialization we carefully screen and place these dogs in loving forever homes.
