My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet David (Formerly Dada) - Your Brindle Buddy!

Animal ID: DC00150
Name: David (Dada)
Breed: Formosan Mountain Dog
Age: Three years old (Born on 2021-01-02)
Weight: 21kg
Gender: Male
Health: Fully vaccinated, including rabies, and dewormed. Neutered and microchipped.
Color: Brindle

David isn't just a dog, he's a heartwarming tale of resilience and companionship. Originally known as Dada in Taiwan, this three-year-old Formosan Mountain Dog is ready to bring his unique charm into your life.

**Health and Care:
- Up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies
- Neutered and microchipped
- Healthy and healed from a previous injury

**Personality Highlights:
David is a people-lover through and through. From his love for scheduled bathroom breaks to his respectful demeanor around food, this brindle beauty is eager to be by your side. He adores going for walks and will let out a cheerful bark when he needs to go out or join in on an adventure. Plus, if he's asked to do something unreasonable, he'll let you know with a playful bark!

**Ideal Family:
Are you a patient and loving family looking for a furry companion? David is your guy! He gets along famously with cats, dogs, and children, making him a versatile addition to any loving home. Whether it's snuggling on the couch or exploring the great outdoors, David is up for it all.

**Rescue Journey:
David's journey to find his forever home is a touching one. Rescued by the Animal Rescue Team Taiwan(ARTT) in the mountainous region of Taitung, David, then known as Dada, was found alongside another injured dog, Hanchi. Despite not needing immediate medical attention himself, David stuck by Hanchi's side throughout the rescue mission. The volunteers couldn't bear to leave David behind, especially with his gentle and loving nature, so they brought both dogs back to safety.

Now, David is eagerly waiting to bring his loyalty, love, and unwavering spirit into a new home. Will you be the one to give this brave and loving pup the forever family he deserves?

If you're ready for an adventure with a loyal companion who has a heart of gold, contact us today to meet David (Dada) and make him a cherished member of your family!

More about this rescue

We are a group of regular people living in Toronto, brought together by destiny under a mission to save displaced pet lives. Though the strength of one is limited, our combined courage makes it possible to guide these small friends through life’s difficulties. Let us treat their illnesses, restore their trust in humans, and foster sympathy in our communities.

Animals give their all for human beings. Over many years, we have seen dogs who sacrificed their lives for their owners. We have seen cats accompanying and comforting their depressed caretakers. If their owners pass away, these pets mourn the loss with genuine sorrow. They try their whole lives to love their owner and the people around them, remaining loyal even through abandonment. They show their love through actions, as they cannot use words to express themselves. To them, we humans are everything. Therefore, it is our duty to recognize and repay this devotion.
