Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Cats are marvelous creatures." This makes us think of our wonderful Buddy Holly.

Buddy shares his name with an iconic musician. One of his songs was "I'm Looking for Someone to Love" and kitty Buddy is waiting for a family of his very own to love and care for him and be loved in return.

He is absolutely magnificent and one of the most beautiful cats we have ever seen! Buddy Holly has such presence! He is eight months old.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
