Avery is just a wonderful low-key cuddly young girl, who gets along with cats and dogs. She's so pretty with her gorgeous grey and white coat and big pointy ears. Her eyes are soft and sweet.
Avery has been a pretty low maintenance pup in foster care! She does well with other dogs, and is really good with our two scaredy cats and gives them their space. She loves playing tug and running around with her foster sister (our resident dog) and is happy to share her toys and snacks with her.
Avery is medium/low energy and is a home-body. She likes to play a bit each day and likes to have a toy to chew on. She's good on a leash, though prefers her walks to be short and gets excited to turn around and go home when she is done walking. Avery loves to cuddle and is a great couch companion - she likes to glue her body right up next to her human's, though is ok with a dog bed too! Avery wants to be adopted by a gentle, mellow family that will give her the time and space to acclimate. She is well worth all the efforts as she is just a very nice dog.
Avery arrived at the shelter as a super bashful pup. She was lost, alone and unsure of the world. We spent quiet moments with her to help her gain her confidence. It's amazing what a little love, patience, and yummy treats can do! She's really blossomed in her foster home and is ready to find her forever home.
