Meet Mira, a charming 3-year-old, 64-pound APBT mix eagerly awaiting her forever home. Mira approaches everyone with a happy, eager face, ready to make new friends. She adores being petted and is endlessly curious about the world around her, often captivated by the slightest movement. Witnessing the shadows of flying birds can send her into a joyful frenzy of zoomies.
Mira may need some guidance with leash walking, as she can be a bit of a puller. She's eager to please, however, and treats are her ultimate motivator. With a little training and patience, she's sure to excel. Mira’s mastered the art of sitting for treats and her willingness to learn shines through. She's not reactive around other dogs and shows potential for forming meaningful doggy friendships.
Mira is more than just a lovable companion; she's a bundle of joy ready to bring laughter and love into her new family's life. If you're looking for a sweet, playful pooch who's always up for an adventure, Mira might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful girl and see for yourself the joy she brings to those around her. Mira’s $225 adoption fee covers essential services like spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment. Simply call 602-971-1334 to schedule a visit and potentially become Mira’s cherished forever family.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
