Jackson is a 1yr 7-month-old, very handsome guy. He is a sweet, smart, playful guy that is very curious about how everything works around him. He loves our walks in the morning and evening along with car rides. When I first got Jackson, he checked out the yard and every part of it. Then he came in the house and like most German Shepard’s he checks out every room and what was behind every door before he spotted the dog toy drawer. After searching through many toys, he found the one the likes best of all. It is a rubber chicken that squeaks. He carried that chicken around for hours and will still carry it outside or inside to play. He loves playing ball any time any where its his favorite game.
He has learned that the flower beds are off limits, occasionally he will forget when he sees a bird or squirrel in one of the beds and he runs to chase them out. He is learning some basic commands sit, stay, kennel, but I think he already knew them and just hasn’t heard them in a while. Jackson is food and treat driven making it easy to train and very easy to correct. I’ve been told he was in a play yard with other dogs when he was in a shelter. He was at another foster home after leaving the shelter, but the bossy female did not like him moving in so now he is here waiting for that family that is looking for a great, loyal companion. Come meet Jackson he would love to be a part of your family. P.S. The chicken is included.
