My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Neo. I am a Lab/Shepherd mix about 9 months old, about 46 lbs, and was picked up by a kind lady when I was just a little puppy as I was dodging traffic on a busy 5-lane highway in Brownsville Texas. I am your typical puppy but I am grateful to my human so I behave very well. I am crate-trained trained, potty-trained, and love my human foster brothers and sisters and get along with all the other dogs. I love to run and play with them in the yard. I am very submissive and don't jump up on people. I am very loving and love being petted and getting belly rubs. I have this special talent for turning my ear inside out and folding it back when I'm happy. My human thinks it's the cutest thing ever.

There is a rescue dog transport van leaving Texas next week, going to Connecticut and nearby states so I can meet whoever adopts me!

* We encourage you to email us your #1, #2, and #3 choices, and we will be happy to help you find a pup to complete your family! Also, please continue watching our listings as we post new dogs multiple times a week. There is no need to fill out another application, just let us know what other dogs you are interested in as they come up.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
