Hey Hey, I'm Usnavi and I'm 2 years old. I'm a big boy with a heart of gold! I really am just a big sweetheart! I bond quickly to my humans and I will make a loyal companion. I will need to have my exercise and mental stimulation needs met so that I have appropriate outlets for my energy. I can jump when I'm excited, but I quickly stop once I get my initial excitement out. Also, I'm house trained!! It's unsure how I am with other dogs, so bring the whole family to meet me. More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
