Meet Leia! She is about 4.5 months old, 27 lbs, and she is a mutt! Luke and Leia were dumped at a known dumping ground in the South. As a puppy, she will need someone who is home for most of the day to provide a lot of attention and consistent expectations. Puppy classes and training are a must to ensure that she grows up to be a well behaved and loyal companion. She would do best in a home with kids 5+. Cats are unknown. No apartments, please!
Her foster says, "Leia is a fun, sweet puppy. She absolutely loves to play with her brother Luke, and usually starts the wrestling around. She loves petting, attention and being loved. She knows how to sit and likes to get treats when she does. She also knows how to be in a fenced in area, when I go to open the door I say off or back off and she will usually sit and wait for me to come in or have her to go out, but sometimes she gets excited and wants to come to you. She is such a wonderful, energetic puppy and I think she will be an awesome dog for anyone who wants to adopt her!"
She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
