Meet Sophie! Sophie is a sweet 7-year old chonk whose personality is even bigger than her belly. Sophie is like a feline Apple Watch: She will remind you to get up and move your legs every hour (to feed her). She will improve your sleep (by holding you down with the weight of her love). And she will hold you accountable if you mess up (by sitting in her spot, moving her, or otherwise misbehaving). Sophie has had the misfortune of losing two owners in two years. My mom adopted her when her previous owner passed away. Sophie is slow to warm up to people, but once she accepts you, she loves hard. She brought my mom such love and happiness in her final months that I want to find her the best possible home, ideally with someone who will keep me updated every so often. Sophie has all her shots, her recent lab work indicated she’s perfectly healthy, and she is scheduled for a dental cleaning in April.
