My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet, Rescueme.org or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quick as possible.

Meet Wheatland aka Wheatie, neutered male, Pitbull Mix, between 2-3yrs old. This sweet, goofy boy was dumped and left without food or water in the cold to fend for himself. Wheatland knows sit, stay, leave-it, down and drop it, he is learning how to walk on a leash without pulling. He likes most other dogs, we don't know about cats or small children. He loves to play fetch and get cuddles. He is a big boy at over 68 pounds, he would do best in a home that understands his size and breed. He has quickly become our one of our teams favorite dogs, he is just so sweet.

My adoption fee is $250: This includes neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently on.
