My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tigger, a mature feline with a heart as warm as her personality. She's an independent soul, but don't let that fool you. Her gentle nature makes her a joy to be around. She's sweet and friendly, always ready to share a tender moment with those she trusts. Tigger has a unique preference for human companionship, as she doesn't quite fancy other cats. But, she shares a deep bond with Marbles, proving that her heart has room for special friends. She loves being picked up, a testament to her trusting nature. Tigger's blend of independence and affection makes her a delightful companion. Adopt Tigger, and you'll gain a friend who'll add sweetness to your days and a gentle purr to your quiet nights.

More about this shelter

The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
