My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jimmy is a friendly, spunky senior who says age ain’t nothin’ but a number! He has plenty of adventures left to go on and a HUGE amount of love to share with you!! Jimmy recently hit the town on a field trip- he explored 4th avenue and even played in a splash pad!!

“Jimmy is 8 years old but has young dog energy! He’s a gentle giant and chill with other dogs, leash trained, knows how to sit, loves to play fetch, and loves to get belly rubs!”

Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Jimmy warms up quickly and is very friendly and welcomes human companionship. He`s also smart and knows how to sit for treats and give paw. He`s food motivated, and he takes treats gently. He has a lot of energy but is also a good couch potato as he is often seen in his kennel deeply snoozing on a blanket. He`s always happy to go for a walk. He’s met several people while we`ve been out walking and he`s always social and well-behaved with them and appreciates being petted and talked to. He`s a big, sweet boy who craves attention and love.”

Jimmy has been described by staff as sweet and friendly and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Jimmy today!!
