My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiloh is an almost 3-year old mix of pit bull, Australian cattle dog, German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever. As a puppy, he was abandoned with his siblings in a park and was adopted through Rico Pet Recovery. Through no fault of his own, Shiloh is now looking for a new home.

He weighs 48 pounds, is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, house trained and leash-trained. He knows several commands and his current owner describes him as a sweet dog who likes to cuddle.

Shiloh is a high-energy dog and would do best in a home with active adults who have time to work with him. He hasn't had exposure to children and would probably do best with no kids or ones that are older. He is very comfortable with women, and although he is afraid of men, he warms up quickly to them in the home. When out on a leash, Shiloh will 'yell' at men. He likes to protect his territory from other dogs and doesn't care for dogs approaching the fence. No cats, please.

Shiloh's adoption fee is $250. You can apply for him at ricopetrecovery.org.
