Hello there, I'm Princess. I may be a bit timid at first, but give me a little time and you'll see my sweet nature shine through. I adore the company of other dogs, their presence gives me confidence and joy. I'm not one for the limelight, but I promise to be your loyal companion. I may not be the first to greet you, but I will be the one waiting patiently for your affection. I'm looking for a home where I can feel safe and loved. I would love to meet the whole family including any children under 12. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will cherish your companionship and return your love tenfold.

If you are interested in meeting me, Come on in! We are open 12noon-6pm every day.

Animals are available by walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are also available for select animals. Check each animals' bio for more information.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.

Also included is a free week of training through Good Pup.
