Hi there, potential forever family. My name is Pepper, and I'm a 3-year-old, 15lb pup with a heart full of love and a tale to tell. Let me share a bit about myself and why I could be the perfect match for you.
I may be a little guy at 15 lbs, but what I lack in size, I more than make up for in personality. You see, I'm a Terrier Mix, which means I've got a lot of spunk and intelligence packed into this tiny frame. Terriers are known for their loyalty and smarts, and I'm no exception.
Now, let's talk about my personality. I'll be honest with you - I'm very, very shy. It takes me a little while to warm up to new people and situations, but once I do, I'm the most loving and loyal companion you could ask for. I thrive on gentle kindness and patience, and I'll reward your love with endless devotion.
Despite my shyness, I'm incredibly smart and eager to please. With a little bit of time and positive reinforcement, I know I can blossom into the confident and outgoing pup I know I can be. And once I've earned your trust, I'll stick by your side through thick and thin, ready to shower you with affection and companionship.
I should also mention that I come from a hoarding situation, where I didn't get the love and care I deserved. But that's all in the past now, and I'm ready to leave those days behind me and start fresh with a family who will cherish me forever.
So, if you're looking for a loving and loyal companion who just needs a little extra patience and understanding, I'm your guy. Fill out that adoption form, and let's start our journey together. With your love and support, I know we can overcome anything.
Pepper is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
