My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

A volunteer writes: Baby looks so dignified as he supervises Adoptions from his little circle loaf, but he knows how to have a good time! He's still figuring out shelter life, so he's usually not at the front seeking pets and neck scritches. Baby does, however, look for love and attention in the form of play time! The thing that really gets Baby to let loose is his beloved pipe cleaner feather. Baby bounds out of his circle supervision pose to get his toy. He enthusiastically uses both paws and in his efforts to get the toy first (accidentally?) grabs whatever is in the middle - his blanket, a toy mouse, his water dish. He may not be the smoothest, but playing with Baby is one of the most entertaining shows around! Baby was brought to us due to his person's housing issues and he has lived with other kitties. Baby asks for just a little extra patience when making friends and trust me, he is well worth it!
