My name is Rocco!

Meet Rocco! This handsome fella is a total sweetheart!! He is gentle, affectionate, house-trained, excellent with other dogs and eager to please his humans!  Don't let his photos fool you - Rocco is happy and so sweet and affectionate. He just likes to put on his sad face for the camera. Rocco is timid initially but warms up quickly and is eager to show his affection with tail wags and cuddles. Each day Rocco goes for a walk around the neighborhood with his foster dog brother and is very well behaved on leash. He doesn't react to other dogs or people; he just likes to spend time with his person and be out and about. Rocco's only nuance is that he will probably be shy when you first bring him home so a family who understands she dogs just need a minute to settle will be a nice fit for Rocco. He's perfectly joyful and happy in his foster home but it did take him a couple of days to be comfortable (he was in the shelter for a long period of time). The shelter staff all adored Rocco and made it their persona mission to save him as he was slated for euthanasia due to the overshelming number of dogs. We are SO PLEASED we saved Rocco!  We adore him also! Rocco's paperwork from the vet says Pointer but he appears to also have some American Bulldog and / or Boxer and perhaps Pit Bull. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 44 lbs
