My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie Chalupa is a Chi mix that weights 16lbs and almost 8 years old. He was adopted 7 years ago and with the change in the family dynamics, they are traveling non-stop and do not have the time to give Charlie the care and attention he deserves. They reached out to LHS for assistance placing him in a home where he doesn't have to be in board a majority of the time.

He enjoys running around the backyard and playing fetch. He loves to play with his doggie friend and is respectful of kitties as well. Snuggling in your lap and napping with you is really his favorite thing to do though! He is crate trained and house broken.

Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, current on rabies, has been neutered, micro chipped and is heartworm negative. He is available to go to his new furever family now.

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
