Hi, my name is Mocha and I’m a Pomsky. I’m a puppy mill survivor so please be patient with me as I am taking time to learn new habits and am still learning to go potty outside. I do not like to be on a leash so I have not been able to go on a walk. I do like to explore and play outside though so I need someone with a fenced yard so I can explore off a leash. I am a very happy girl that likes to be near humans at all times and get very sad when left alone. I really enjoy laying down on the couch and being pet. I am just starting to play with toys and I really enjoy tennis balls. I am good with other dogs and children. Overall I am excitable but still relatively low energy for a dog so I would love to be adopted by someone that spends a lot of time at home since I get very sad and anxious when left alone. I will need a surgery post adoption (the cost will be covered by the rescue) that will require follow up care. My foster parents will discuss specifics with applicants upon approval.

Submit Application

First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.

2.
Home Check

This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.

3.
Approve Application

Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have had a meet and greet you get 24 hours to think of weather you'd like to adopt. Both the foster and adopter must mutually agre
