My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Arya! I was confiscated from my previous owner. I was living outside and they found me with fishing wire embedded into my neck because they were using it as a leash. I was covered in wounds and very very skinny. My previous family didn't care about me at all. But, that hasn't stopped me from being the nicest and sweetest girl around!

I am thriving in my foster home! I have put on some weight, weighing ~55 lbs now and am a 1 year old playful gal. I like to chew my bones and pull apart my stuffies, but I don't eat their insides because that's gross. I like to play fetch, but my absolute most favorite thing to do is just be close to you and do a snuggles.

I lived alone outside for a long time and had to fend for myself. So I am not overly dog social, but we are working on it with the help of a trainer. I am HW positive, but no worries I'm getting big and strong for treatment and it's sponsored by the nice rescue people!

I am potty trained and crate trained! The total package, ready to make my way to my forever family!  I have lots of love to give!

More about this rescue

We are a animal rescue and sanctuary in Florida that strives to not only rescue animals in need, but educate the public and advocate for animal welfare. We have been working in the rescue world for years and want to help make a change not only by saving animals, but by starting at the source of the problem. We save animals from the shelter and off of the streets, vet them, interview adopters, and adopt them out to safe homes. We go out to the public to educate on animal population control and welfare.
