Oh, why hello there new friends! My name is Kiena and I am a complex and amazing little lady who is looking for a home that will worship me like the royalty I am! You may ask, what exactly does my perfect home consist of? Well let me tell you! Once we are friends, I love a good snuggle or two. Sometimes though, it takes me a bit to warm up to new people, so a few meet and greets will be needed in order to fully show my goofy and lovely side. Who can blame me though, I didn`t have the best start to life so I am looking for my new lease on life! While I do really love other dogs and would love to go home with a canine sibling, I tend to prefer to play dainty- so would not be into a real wrestle and romp type of pal. But one who loves to chill with a few bouts of running? Sounds great to me! I would prefer a home without kiddos as well, since I am a bit more on the sensitive side, kiddos would be a little bit too much for me. My friends here say while I don`t know a whole lot about the world, I do love a good adventure out and about. Want to go for a low key hike? Sounds amazing to me! What about a stroll through the woods? Sounds perfect! I definitely haven`t had a lot of worldly experiences, so I am looking for a home that can provide me with plenty of time and work on building my confidence through positive experiences (and treats of course). So you may ask, why have I been here so long considering I am such a peach? My Achilles heel tends to be vetting- I tend to find the vet and vet office quite scary (who can blame me though), so I have been working so hard with my friends here on wearing a muzzle at the vet as well as working on realizing maybe the vet isn`t so scary at all! If you are looking for a world class snuggles, someone who is up for an adventure or two every once in awhile and a great gal all around- head on down to meet me today! While I may need multiple appointments, I promise I am so beyond worth it- ask the many friends I have made at the shelter who just about adore me! I hope to see you soon!
This pet is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. You will meet this pet more than once before entering into a 3-week trial placement in your home. You will be matched with a behavior expert to help you and your pet through any bumps in the road during the trial placement. When all parties agree it is a match, we finalize the adoption!
