Nala A416495

Located At: Sonoma County Animal Services

Description: I am a spayed female, tan German Shepherd Dog mix.

Age: I am estimated to be about 3 years old.

Weight: I weigh approximately 65 pounds.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since Apr 03, 2023.

Nala is such a loving & friendly dog. She loves staying close to her handler and seeking attention but can get bored if she's left alone. She was friendly when meeting another dog but does know how to set her boundaries as she isn't big on play time with other dogs. We are recommending she go into a home with children 10 years and older.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
