My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherman has quite the story. He originally came into the shelter as a 5 week old kitten. Then his people had a shake up in their lives and unfortunately he was returned. Sherman doesn’t understand that it’s not his fault. All he knows is that he is back where he came from- with new sights, sounds, smells and other cats. He is a little standoffish at first- but please remember his whole world was turned upside down. Sherman knows he should be the king of the castle, so please keep this in mind when considering adoption. He would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention! Help us give Sherman a loving furever home!

Additional adoption info

The adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies under 6 months- $300 ($50 back when altered)
Adult dogs- $250
Senior dogs (over 8yrs)- $75

Kittens under 6 months- $55 ($25 refunded when altered)
Adult cats- $65
Senior cats (over 10yrs)- $55

Requirements: All other animals in the home must already be spayed or neutered, unless the animal is too young. The animals must live inside only. No tying out your dogs. If you rent you must come with a signed paper from your landlord, allowing pets. Please fill out an adoption application by following this link

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
