Hi there! My name is April and I’d love to be a ray of sunshine for a wonderful family! Before moving here, I was in Alabama where I gave birth to my eight babies (yes, eight!). They were born outside in the rain which was scary for us but thankfully we were all saved and brought to safety. My journey has not been the easiest, but I am still happy as ever! Here are some special things about me: •I am a social butterfly, I love being around people. I get so happy that my whole body wiggles! •My best feature? My ears! They flop like crazy when I prance and run around! •I’d describe myself as sweet and silly. I could go on but if I have your attention, I’d love to show you that I could be the perfect addition to your family. We definitely should meet!
***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** April is in our Foster to Adopt Program because she is not yet spayed. Her spay will be coming up soon. If you are interested in adopting April, please fill out an Adoption Application. All medical needs other than her spay will be the responsibility of the Foster to Adopt home. The spay is covered by the rescue and will be through our vets. Once the spay is complete, the adoption will be finalized.
-------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
