Meet the Pet
Gunner is one of a kind. He looks a little intimidating, but is a good boy! He was an owner surrender - he has too much energy for their family. We really don't know his breed and they didn't have info on parents- might have some Boxer or Mastiff in him. Gunner is house trained, good with cats and other dogs. He loves human attention and is very playful- he loves to play fetch and mess around in the water hose. He also loves a good scratch on his hind quarters. Gunner needs a home with a family that has time to play with him and take him on adventures. The family that surrendered him did say they didn't have enough time to spend with him. He walks well on a leash and doesn't pull at all. Gunner is neutered, fully vaccinated and just needs a loving home!
**Gunner was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners and he may even learn some tricks as well! Gunner will be looking for a forever home before he graduates in late May, so if you are interested in meeting him, please contact us!
If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.
