Meet Axle!
This handsome young man is full of energy and ready to start on the next chapter of his life! Axle loves to play tug, fetch, and pretty much any game you're willing to join in on. He can also be independent and doesn't mind if you need a little space sometimes, he'll just be sniffing around the yard or working on a chew. Axle loves other dogs and would do great with a well-matched friend of similar play styles and energy level. He loves playing in water and he's ready to have the best summer ever with his new family. He's just working on finding the perfect home right now, so if you think you may be the right fit, please come by and ask about him!

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
