Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Potato's human guardian began undergoing chemo treatments, a friend of a friend took her in. Unfortunately, it turns out that she is severely allergic to cats. Potato loves toys and food. With patience, Potato warms up to new people over time. If you can wait for her to come to you, eventually she becomes quite the cuddler, who even doesn't mind being picked up in a little ball.

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
