My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET PEPPERMINT, a 3-year-old handsome male Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. He has a cute black spot on his back that makes him unique, and a heart-shaped black nose. He was recently rescued from a Los Angeles shelter where he was a resident for over a year! We thought it was time he get a change of scene. :) Now, Peppermint is ready to rock and roll and explore the world! He is an affectionate, loyal and happy dog with a lot of love to give! He is a friendly, gentle, smart, curious, funny, athletic boy. Like most pitties, he is strong and will do well with a strong owner who loves to walk, hike and go on other outings. He is a well-rounded dog with no known issues with other dogs, except that he likes to rough house a bit per the shelter. Peppermint would love to snuggle up with you on the couch during a movie or while you work from home, after a long hike through the woods. He weigh 69 lbs. Please email for an application.

Meet the Pet

After an initial interview, we work to set up a meet and greet with the new pet.

Additional adoption info

We work hard to match the right dog with the right person or people. Often people inquire about one dog, but end up adopting a different dog that is a better fit. We have many dogs to choose from and are able to successfully match people with their forever companions.

Go meet their pets

We do private meet-and-greets only.
