Meet Mijo, the handsome pup with plenty of spunk despite his nearly senior status! He's a total ball-chasing pro and will do anything to impress his new family.
Mijo's recent stay at the vet turned out to be a blessing in disguise - not only did he recover quickly, but the staff fell in love with him and decided to help find him a forever home. They suspect his tummy troubles were due to some anxiety and diet issues in his previous home, but with the proper love, care, and a stable home, he'll be feeling like a million bucks in no time.
So what do you say? Are you ready to add some extra love and laughter to your home with this sweet old gentleman? Mijo promises to be the life of the party and will happily accept all the belly rubs and snuggles you can give him.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
