She had the name Apple when fostered; it wasn’t until after she learned her name, I got to know her and realized the name Bunny would be more suitable. She likes to show off her adorable hops when she’s excited and also loves bouncing/hoping after her ball when playing fetch. She favors her right side when she gets excited and has a cute uncoordinated run. She loves face rubs and kisses and will give a sweet little lick back in return. Very kind young lady that is well behaved when left alone and when directed. Her ears are constantly bouncing around and also are a good indicator of her emotions. She is very expressive and conveys a lot through her steel grey eyes.
Apple is a very well behaved dog. She likes to chew but is very good about only chewing her toys and not furniture (finding a toy she can’t destroy is the hard part). She is an escape artist and can get out of a crate but has had no issue when left outside of her crate. She respects her room and does not eat anything she isn’t suppose to. Apple is very well behaved and can be left alone for an 8 hour work day, given she is let out and played with for a fair time before and after. She loves attention but understands when it is quiet time. She doesn’t bark unless to alert you someone is coming home. She is tentative around other dogs but warms up well and never has shown aggression. She has a sensitive stomach so dog food and healthy treats are the only things on the menu (she’s allergic to eggs). Apple still has puppy energy so she needs to be reminded not to jump on friends when excited and still needs to be coached on mouthy habits and nibbling when playing. She is a great night time cuddler and fits perfectly as a little spoon.
Apple is an amazing, sweet, smart and loving dog. She will thrive in a home full of love, adventure with room to run. Although she can adapt well in many climates, she would appreciate a yard to run off leash and an area to play fetch. She is very trainable and loyal and would be a great companion to a single person home or a family. She is happy on her own but would also be happy with a dog sibling to keep her company. Apple shows positive growth every week and will be a great life long friend.
