My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ! My neighborhood friend, Andrea named me Douglas Stanley. She says a distinctive cat like me shouldn't be wandering around looking for handouts. She calls me Doug for short. I could tell she really likes cats because she has given me such great food ! She also took me to a kitty health clinic to see if I had a micro-chip. Nope, so I got my very own micro-chip right then and there. I was checked all over and was found to be a very healthy young guy. They also took care to keep me safe from viruses and rabies with some vaccines. When we got back she let me inside her house to be where it is safe. I know she loves me and wants to help me find the perfect forever home. I can read people's minds! Oh, Yes I CAN ! This is what she thinks about me:

"Douglas Stanley is a playful, energetic, loving cat who loves to be with his human friend. He's a very loyal guy who won't let down his favorite person. He prefers to be within eyesight or cuddling, napping with them while they work or relax. He likes to explore and climb! He has learned to like playing with wand toys with feathers! He also enjoys playing soccer with different stuffy catnip toys and balls!

He has tried to be friendly with cats but is quite unsure how to approach domestic cats who have a different energy than he does. Sometimes, he will head-bonk and rub on them, and other times, he misjudges the room, and play tackles them a bit too rough! I have no knowledge of how he is with dogs or young children. He's a very loving, easy-going cat so, with the right introductions, I think either could be accepted.

He can be very vocal and has definite opinions and thoughts about everything! He will overshare with anyone who will listen. He also enjoys having lengthy conversations while he's playing! Of course he also prefers to be the center of attention and would love if his human could teach him to walk on a harness and leash – as he does have an interest in the great outdoors!

His perfect home is best with a playmate who shares his love for tackling and running and jumping! He would prefer a home where his human friend either works from home most days or is retired and home with him most of the time."

So there you have it ! I knew she'd be saying this the day I met her! She's absolutely right about me. I even got to have my pictures taken by a photographer, hope you like them! I am a Silver Rosetted Bengal, loyal and true ! I want to be absolutely right for you !

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good!

I currently live with my owner in Antelope.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
