My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Claire, the epitome of grace and elegance in feline form. This beautiful domestic short hair gray tabby may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, her love knows no bounds. Claire adores attention, reveling in every pet and cuddle she receives. Watch her as she occasionally rolls over, a clear sign that she's relishing the affection. With her proper ballerina 1st position stance, Claire exudes poise and grace in every movement. And let's not forget her adorable meow, guaranteed to melt your heart every time. Claire is not just a cat; she's a companion who will fill your home with love, elegance, and joy. Adopt Claire today and experience the magic of having a graceful ballerina cat in your life.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
