My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 12/01/21

Cosmo is a very sweet and calm young adult female. She is very submissive and gets along great with other cats and even well behaved cat friendly dogs and older children. She loves all the pets and will thank you with finger kisses for an occasional treat. She is so smart, you can see the intelligence in her beautiful big eyes and she quickly learns new routines and adjusts to every situation so well. She would thrive in a home with a cat companion to spend her time cuddled up next to. Although not a high energy kitty, she will show off her kitten side with a laser toy in an instant! She is the perfect snuggle up lap kitty but in the perfect way of understanding when you are busy vs when you are ready for the cuddles.

More about this rescue

Rescue/Shelter Description

The Village Mews was founded to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, in-home foster rescue. Our felines reside in caring foster homes, where they thrive in safe indoor environments. Any cat that is accepted into our foster program will remain with a loving foster family until adopted. Our volunteers work patiently with each cat providing them with medical care, socialization and rehabilitation. Once our cats are socially acclimated, in good health and have completed their medical requirements they begin their journey to finding their perfect forever homes.
As a volunteer based non-profit, we depend on the generosity and support of our Village. We are grateful for all monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as dry/ canned food and litter. We rely on private contributions to continue our rescue efforts.
