Meet Kevin from The Office!
This handsome cat was brought to HSoP because the Good Samaritan who was feeding him felt that outdoor-cat Kevin was nice enough for his own home. As you might be able to tell from the photos, Kevin is missing the tip of his left ear. If you aren't familiar, an ear-tip (or missing top portion of the left ear) is the universal indicator that a cat has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated as part of a TNR program. After seeing his ear-tip, it was no surprise that Kevin was already neutered! The only thing that didn't make sense was his demeanor. We had never seen an outdoor "feral" cat turn so loving (aside from our own office cat, NoTail)!
We estimate Kevin to be around 5 years old. In case you're wondering, yes, he's named Kevin from The Office because he looks quite similar to Kevin from "The Office". Even though Kevin has lived outside for quite a while, he's made himself totally at home inside the shelter. He's been loving his comfy beds, so much that he even showed off his stellar biscuit making skills! Kevin does have a shy exterior, especially with brand new people. It doesn't take much more than a forehead scratch for him to see you as a friend though! Kevin is a quiet and content cat who loves being pet and brushed. He would likely appreciate a calm and quiet environment to match his demeanor.
We aren't sure how Kevin would behave around children, dogs, or other cats. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption, to help ensure a good fit for the whole family! Kevin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and all ready to find his perfect forever home. Those interested in Kevin should come visit him at HSoP! Our cat lobby is open 1:00-6:00pm and dog kennels close at 5:00pm each day.
