Their adoption process
Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.

- We will review your application, and perform a background check, vet check and when applicable, a landlord check.
- Home Check
- Meet the Pet
- For most species, a meeting is required. For some species, multiple meetings may be needed or required.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Once approved, sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
- Take the Pet Home
