My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you like sassy cats? How about independent cats that aren't to clingy? Lelie is a very elegant girl that loves to lay in the sun and just take in the rays! She has a confident personality and lets you know that she is royalty. She likes to be petted but lets you know when she is done. She is vaccinated and litter trained. Come on in and meet this princess so you can be blessed with her presence.
The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment. Our email is shelbycountyanimalshelter@yahoo.com

More about this shelter

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
